Delivering over 17.96 million YouTube views, 163,000 in-app contest entries, 48,000 tracked installs, tens of thousands of attributed organic installs, a 20% increase in DAU (Daily active users) and pushing Topps “Kick” to No.1 in top-free Sports (Spain & UK – 4 consecutive days) and No.3 in USA top-free sports, the Kairos Media “Topps International YouTuber League” proved a huge success.

Objective.

  • Engage 12-25 focused male sports/football-focused influencers in the UK and Spain
  • Secure Topps Kick a position in the top 10 (UK & Spain sports category) on the IOS App Store
  • Create a fun promotion (using internal creative) to deliver highly engaged, active users.

Activity.

  • Combining a background as YouTubers ourselves with 5 years of influencer relationships and contacts, we knew exactly who would deliver the absolute best results for our client
  • Brainstorming, creative planning and objective analysis lead us to create the “Topps International YouTuber League”. An in-app contest, supported by prizes and rewards, to find the best of the best players
  • Engaging 8 of the UK and 2 of Spain’s most prominent football focused YouTube influencers to support the league, we created a campaign based around strategic burst promotional video content over a period of 9 days.
